My name is Sebastià López and I’m a graphic designer from Barcelona living in Basel, Switzerland.
I’ve been a freelance designer since 2007, working for my clients and for design and branding agencies. During those years I've been involved in a wide range of projects. In the cultural field I’ve worked for art galleries, photographers, musicians, choreographers and actors. I have also worked for all kinds of companies: fashion, food chains, retail and online shops, videogame developers, programming studios, Apple accessories manufacturers, and reference websites.
I do branding (design & strategy), graphic communication, book design, packaging, digital & web design, illustration and animation among others. My background in marketing and corporate communication is an useful asset when it comes to create concepts that match and fulfil the client's objectives, and with my training in design I can give the right visual shape to those concepts.
I speak and write in English, Spanish, and Catalan. I learned some Dutch during the three years I lived in Antwerp, Belgium. And I expect to start with German anytime soon.
I’m also the editor of the site Game & Graphics, dedicated to the visual creativity in the video game culture.
